Rachael Patterson was an instructor of Middle Eastern Studies at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School; she worked in the Arabian Gulf and Iraq from 2007-2011; she holds a master’s degree from Dartmouth College and a BA from BYU in Middle Eastern Studies & Arabic. She has served as the young women's president in her ward, mother of 4 children, happily in love with her Green Beret husband and resides in North Carolina. FUN FACT: She grew up in Sharon, Vermont (in the same community where Joseph Smith was born). She has a passion for the restoration of the gospel, particularly priesthood power in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
