Fix-It-Friday is here to get your weekend started by keeping your head right. When you see people making a fall-break it can look like they are just dropping to, and slapping, the ground. It’s not just that. The fall-break is meant to help you protect your head and disperse impact from a fall or throw.

Keep your chin tucked hard to make sure you don’t whiplash your neck and smack your noggin on the ground (that can suck even on a training mat). Use your arms at a 45 degree angle from your body to put the brakes on and stop yourself from going heels-over-head as well as to disperse impact. Find the ground with one foot asap to give yourself position and mobility.
