Carl Martin: PURPLE MOON Vintage Fuzz n' Vibe

The Purple Moon is a beautifully voiced, analog, true-bypass, two speed fuzz (think: Fuzz Face) and vibe. It has all the groovy chewiness of the old and original and the added bonus of the fuzz circuit makes it almost irresistible to classic rock fans like myself. I've paired the Purple Moon with a Strat and Marshall Bluesbreaker and also the mighty Empress echosystem for some reverb/delay here and there. The Purple Moon has been around for about 3 years now, so you're probably already familiar with it. It should be regarded as a minor classic, I think. Here's my take on it.
