Without St Roch's FC, Celtic Football Club wouldn't be half as successful as they are!

St Roch's gave Celtic their highest ever scorer, Jimmy McGrory who also went on to sign the majority of the Lisbon Lions. He also handed the management reigns to Jock Stein who would go on to win the European Cup a few years later. Jimmy McGrory laid the foundations for Celtic to become the massive club they are today.

The St Roch's stadium is even names James McGrory Park in honour of Celtic's top scorer!
