ROUGAROU is a hybrid staged play reading, based on the Métis legend that originated on Turtle Island centuries ago, the 'Rougarou' serves as an allegory for every MMIWG2S that has gone missing in this country.

Writer & director Damion LeClair talks about the writing process for this play, the evolution of the story, and the importance of audience feedback.

ROUGAROU will take part in SummerWorks' Lab program which is a place to workshop new plays and obtain direct feedback from those in attendance.
