Jitsu Squad is a beat em up game released by   / tanuki_creative   in 2022 for Steam. Console ports are coming later.

This 1cc was completed after the April 2022 update, which grants 1ups through the game and fixes some launch bugs.

Aros is the resident grappler and he has access to a very useful Spinning Pile-driver (SPD), which he can use to finish opponents, land on other enemies, and/or escape dangerous positions. It's also a lot of fun and looks awesome, with his signature scream "Painkiller" being an instant classic. Aros dash is also super useful. Landing from a dash counts as a hit, knocking opponents into the air. You can choose to combo the enemy, or grab and inflict some punishment via the aforementioned SPD. I use this tactic a lot as you will see in the video. There is also an invincible mode which is extremely strong and useful vs the bosses.

The game is great. At first it seems to be a button masher, but there is quite a lot of techniques and strategy to learn. I highly recommend any arcade action or beat em ups fans to give it a try.

Playtime at clear was around 17 hours or so over 4 weeks. Including play time to give you an idea of what to expect on the difficulty. I am an experienced beat em up player, but by no means a super player or expert.
