This guy was incredibly lucky to capture a remarkable moment on his camera – an elephant herd crossing the road. One by one, these majestic creatures make their way across the road. But hold on, the best part is yet to come. Watch as the presumed leader of the herd pauses. She might just be the eldest female, because they are known in elephant societies as the matriarch and the one who guides and decides the herds paths. And look closely – she actually raises her trunk in what appears to be a wave of thanks to the guy. "Thanks for letting us cross," she seems to say. Absolutely amazing!
