Airfix 1/72 Short Stirling I

This is one of Airfix's largest in this scale. I had two in the stash and had wanted to build one and go to town with interior detail. The spares box came to the rescue and some plastic card, wire, decal etc. Very pleased with how it turned out and took the best part of two weeks to complete.

Later on I would build another for a forumite friend which represented the Stirling in which his great uncle served in WW2.

Corgi diecast provided us with a zinc version a few years ago.
