Life in Singapore 2024: August Vlog, Doudou’s fun time, Italian Meal, PLAYDATE, Chanel Facial

This was my first time using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit a video. I had already finished editing my August vlog in Rush, but I really wanted to switch to Premiere Pro. So, last week, I spent late nights every day learning through Google and editing the video. Thankfully, everything turned out well. Hopefully, I can continue using Premiere Pro from now on!

This month’s video features several cooking sessions! I finally used the Italian flag pasta I bought in Italy and even made hor fun for one of the meals, cooking two dishes during lunch. Lots of cooking happened~ (Actually, I cook every day and most weekends, but I don’t always record it, or sometimes it’s just regular meals, haha!) My brother also treated us to oysters one day!

The video also includes plenty of fun moments with Doudou. She got to visit Nainai’s house this month, where she was on her best behavior—so quiet and well-mannered, like the perfect kid you’d want to have. Haha. She also finally started flying, especially since she’s been changing her feathers!

I went to town to run errands and check out Apple products because I need a new Apple device to support my work. While I was out, I visited the Play Date exhibition at the National Museum. Unfortunately, the exhibition was much smaller than I expected—even smaller than the Pop Mart I went to, haha. I also finally got to eat salmon sashimi after months of staying indoors and working every week. Oh, and I bumped into Nellie! Hi, Nellie! :)

I finally set up my extra screen at my parents’ place, and it’s so much easier to work with a bigger screen. Thanks to the GST voucher, I bought it for $50 less than the screen I got last year for my own place. Just a reminder: I do a lot of work, and weekends are usually working days for me!

I also went for my complimentary birthday facial at Chanel. Loved it, though it was a bit pricey, haha. After that, I met up with Susze for dinner. A bit of a bummer that I missed my Vision Pro session, but I’ll try again when I head over to buy my work studio! :)
