Cute EASY Knit Apples - Soft Toys & Basket Fillers

Knitting Apples and Caramel Apples for Fun & Profit! Great to use as a Back-to-School Teacher gift, Halloween Trick, or Treat gift for people who can't eat candy.
Make Knitted poisoned apples for your wicked witches costume. Dark Gothic Cosplay etc. Snow White costumes.
You can make all the candy-colors of the rainbow!
You can knit a basket full in just one afternoon!

Materials & Tools:
#4 Worsted Weight Yarn (any colors!)
Polyfill/toy stuffing
Small sticks or squares of felt
Tacky Glue / thick white glue dries clear

22-needle circular knitting machine or hand-knitting loom
Darning Needle
Scissors

DIY Knit Apples and Candy Apples Instructions:
1. Use any #4 worsted yarn, any colors (colors are so much fun! )
2. Long tails cast-on
3. Knit the number of rounds for your kind of apple:
* Plain Apple Knit 27 rounds
** Candy Apples knit 8 rounds Apple Color
** Change Color to Candy color (any color you wish!) Knit 19 more rounds
(total 27 rounds so far) Place Draw String Cord (same color yarn as
main knitting color)
Knit 25 more rounds
(All ApplesTotal 50 rounds)
4. Long Tail Cast off (remove from the machine)
5. Close one end (just like making a simple beanie hat) Make sure the tail gets threaded to the inside - DO NOT CUT THIS TAIL
6. Tuck the middle drawstring tails to the outside of the tube.
7. Close the other end just like a simple beanie hat.
8. Tuck one end to the inside of the tube and tie the ends together
9. Stitch to attach the drawn-together ends.
10. the open end should have the middle drawstring tails sticking out -
11. Stuff with crafters' polyfill
12. Drawstring the ends together.
13. place Stem or Stick (wood or rolled and sewn felt) before tightening the drawstring all the way down -put tacky glue in the top opening and finish tightening the drawstring.
14. Using a darning needle fasten off the tails and trim.
**For the Candy apple puddle pinch the extra knitted fabric at the bottom edge and stitch _watch the video to see this done.
