Cornflake tart is a very old classic dessert which was very popular pudding on school lunch menus.

INGREDIENTS:

CORNFLAKE TART
Flan dish measures 27.5cm
READY - ROLLED SHORTCRUST PASTRY
175g cornflakes
80g butter
240g golden syrup
50g light brown sugar
140g strawberry jam
Custard to serve
