Method of Sattu Powder:

1. First add lots of salt to a pan & heat it well till it starts smoking.
2. Now add the chanas in small batches & using a slotted spoon keep tossing it in the salt.
3. Make sure to toss constantly otherwise they will burn.
4. Within a few seconds it will start to pop up.
5. Remove in a plate & allow it to cool.
6. Now remove the burnt chanas & keep them aside.
7. Sieve the chanas so that the excess salt is removed & also a few unwanted skin pieces.
8. Now all you have to do is, grind grind grind.
9. Again strain it again so that you get an even & fine powder.
10. And here you have your home-made sattu powder ready.
11. Now wait no more & go on to make me viral & delicious sattu parathas.
