In an SABCNEWS exclusive, Nastassja Jansen says police did not do a thorough investigation into those allegedly responsible for convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester's escape from prison.
She says she would never have arrested - if police did their job.
Jansen tells SABC News Senior Reporter Chriselda Lewis that she is considering suing the state for wrongful arrest.
This after amongst others, charges of aiding and abetting Bester's escape were withdrawn against her and two other accused in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court.
