This video summarizes the restoration project of Peugeot 305GL 1987 car which was in my possession few years back. Almost all steps have been including for inspirational and informational significance. From buying, tinkering, painting to all the major repairs and modifications have been showcased.

During this car's stay with me till 2018, it gave me a really wonderful performance. Never had any sort of engine repair. Was a very reliable vehicle, tested on long distances. I could blow the common misjudgment many car people having, that these cars are not economical both on fuel and maintenance. I properly tuned the car to factory standards, replaced the old carb with a brand new and most important of all, removed contact point ignition system and installed Accuspark electronic ignition kit inside distributor. Before Accuspark I installed a Gammatronix universal electronic ignition unit which, however, failed before long. All these are available on ebay if you plan to go for. They are pretty easy to install on any classic car and you will be amazed by the results. Let me list some;

These units are self-installable. Just follow user manual that comes with the kit. This modification made me fall more and more in love with this car.
