Press Conference - Najib Monsif - 12/14/2021

Scottsdale, AZ (December 14th, 2021) The Scottsdale Police Department is reporting the remains of missing person Najib "Jubi"
Monsif were found at a canal pump station near Power Rd and the Red Mountain Loop 202. Jubi was last seen at his Scottsdale home on September 23rd, 2021. The Scottsdale Police Crime Laboratory forensically confirmed the remains to be Jubi Monsif. There are no signs of foul play.

Jubi was reported as a Missing Person on September 23rd, and an Arizona Silver Alert was issued for him. The Scottsdale Police Department partnered with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the FBI, and Central Arizona Project to conduct several searches within the first days and weeks of his disappearance. Searchers utilized tracking dogs, air units, bicycle units, mounted patrol units, patrol officers, and detectives on foot to look for Jubi in the neighborhood, desert areas, and the canal near his home.

The Scottsdale Police report number is 21-18592.
