Does personal transformation lead to the labyrinth or do labyrinths lead to personal transformation? In May of 2011, I was done with my life as I knew it, so I packed up all my belongings and stuffed them into storage. That Monday I quit my job as a photojournalist for the weekly newspaper. Tuesday I taught my last day of classes as a part-time photography professor. Wednesday I turned in my keys to the apartment and, amidst a flurry of dust and loose ends, I departed at 7:35pm for France-- taking a leap of faith in hopes that a new path would appear before me.
