In this video, Marie Palacios discusses church fundraising 101. She will explore ways to grow support from local churches. Whether a nonprofit is faith-based or non faith-based, there is a good chance they receive funding and support from various church organizations. We will explore ways to expand support from the churches supporting your community. We will also discuss things to avoid and be aware of when working with Churches and your nonprofit organization. While trying to recruit the Pastor to your board of directors may not be the best idea, working with groups in the Church, asking for things like Love Offerings and educating Church members about your mission are great strategies.
