So I just got my new underwater housing from @mareluxco and I couldn't be happier about it!

For the story, two weeks before I left for the @vertical_blue freediving competition I lost my whole UW camera setup in a massive failure of my old plastic housing. I still have PTSD of that moment: when I looked at the line it was clipped while talking with a student, and saw it suspiciously not floating anymore. The locking system of the door failed me, and it went completely flooded, body and lense 😱 That was a total lose.

So it was time to upgrade, and I now proudly own a brand new Sony A7iv, their new flagship hybrid camera, with my favourite sony GM lenses, and this time protected in a TOP NOTCH housing. I believe Marelux is gonna grow fast in the UW housing world, with their full aluminium & innovative designs, huge Optical glass dome, rated -100m, that got my full trust to protect my new valuable camera equipment.

I will be soon visiting Cocos Keeling Island and Christmas Island in Australia, and I'm very excited to take it underwater! Then we will be back to Mexico beginning of October, starting strong with our Freediving Training camp ( Check out @cenotefreediving and www.cenotefreediving.com ) to put all that to test in the most extrem light conditions: our loved freshwater sinkholes "cenotes" of Tulum.
