I used to struggle so much to keep my tension consistent at the spots where the cable loop sat. It always felt a bit awkward until I learned about the traveling loop. Now, I apply that same method but in a slightly different way to reposition the loop so it is never in my way. It has been such a relief to finally keep my tension even throughout the whole round, and it makes the knitting process so much smoother.

I am using this technique on all my colourwork sweaters, including this latest addition to the #yokemeditationseries. These projects are designed to be a quiet, rhythmic break from a busy day. This new design is a collaboration with the team at @thefibrecompany, and their yarn is making every stitch feel even more meditative and soft.

The motif is coming along beautifully, and I am already looking forward to seeing it finished. It is exactly the kind of project I love to get lost in, especially when the yarn and the rhythm of the needles work together so perfectly. I am planning to open the test call for this design very soon.
