Jamia masjid or pride of kashmir is standing tall in Nowhatta in the heart of srinagar city from last 600years. Jamia masjid can accommodate more than 33,000 people for prayers at one single. Known for its peaceful and tranquil ambience is inspired by indo- saracenic architecture. The attraction of jamia masjid is unique architecture, majestic and wodden 378,deodar pillars.
Jamia masjid is hardly 3 kms away from Lal chowk. Sharing taxis cabs, Autos can be hired from Lal chowk charges will be less than 100INR. There are pool of hotels and shop available near the backyard of Jamia Masjid srinagar
