Thank you for taking time out of your day to come and hang out with me. I hope this gave you a bit of inspiration. You really can use just about anything to make your own stencils. You could you cardstock for a one of version or a thicker bit of plastic saved from some packaging or a cover from a cheap notebook book. There are so many options.
