What do parents need to know about artificial intelligence -- especially as we educators try to do what's best for students and wrap our brains around its place in schools?

I met with dozens of parents at Plainfield Community Schools in Plainfield, Indiana. I shared the top 10 things I wanted them to know about artificial intelligence.

One of their biggest questions: Can AI actually support my student's learning? I think many just believed that today's AI tools were machines for completing their kids' homework for them.
