Rolando Blackman & Mark Aguirre: A duo that belongs in the hall of fame | Disregarded Duos by FPP

Mark Aguirre and Rolando Blackman would both be selected in the 1981 NBA draft to play for the second year expansion Dallas Mavericks. For nearly 8 seasons, these two were the leaders of the Mavericks, leading them to 5 straight playoff appearances while each being voted to multiple all star teams. Both of these players were elite scorers in an era of basketball consisting of many great, forgotten scorers. Unfortunately, as the years went on, Aguirre and the Mavs could not see eye to eye and by 1989 the duo was split up, but their time together was special and we're going to look at it in the first episode of Disregarded Duos.
