Now in Their 70s, Two Friends Return to the Arctic for One More Adventure | Short Film Showcase

Описание к видео Now in Their 70s, Two Friends Return to the Arctic for One More Adventure | Short Film Showcase

Over a span of 40 years, adventurous friends Jim Slinger and Andrew “Tip” Taylor have embarked on more than 30 river expeditions together. Each lasting at least three weeks, the canoeing trips became a ritual that brought friendship and meaning into their lives. In this short film by The Muir Project, the two septuagenarians reflect on a life of exploration while embarking on a trip to the wilderness of Alaska’s Brooks Range. 35 years after their first visit to the Noatak River, the two men retrace their journey and look to the adventures that lie ahead. “I have so many things I want to do, it would take a whole lifetime to do them,” Taylor shares. “And then, that probably wouldn’t be long enough.”
