Straw Market Mini Walkthrough 2023🇧🇸,Nassau Bahamas (Downtown Nassau)

The straw market is one big area where vendors are allowed to rent a stall (5$ USD a day) and sell their merchandise.. from chatting with the locals I’ve learnt that it’s a very competent business and since a lot of people are selling similar things then a lot of times there aren’t many sales for some vendors in the area.
Everyone is trying to get their craft sold and it’s understandable why they call for your attention tbh (you’ll see it a lot on this video ) so if you go there don’t be too announced with them 💗we are all humans trying to make the best out of life

Fact: On the 4th September 2001 - A fire engulfed the Nassau Straw Market on Bay Street on New Providence, completely destroying the structure, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism building and several other surrounding buildings.
