California based SAAS company Freshworks just went public posting a successful IPO. Freshworks offers a suite of CRM solutions to its customers. Founded in 2010, Freshworks offers a variety of business software solutions including call center management, customer messaging, sales CRM, and IT service management.

Freshdesk , Freshservice and Freshsales are the company's 3 main offerings. Since inception Freshworks has been growing at an impressive rate attracting new customers and rolling out new offerings. Today around 52,000 businesses use freshworks applications to streamline their business processes and sales & marketing efforts.

Freshworks aims to raise $969M by selling around 28.5 million shares of its stock. The stock is set to begin trading on NASDAQ on Sep 22, under ticker symbol FRSH.With the proposed price of $34 the company will be valued around 9.6 billion, almost tripling its valuation from its last financing round back in 2019. Freshworks falls under the category of emerging growth company showing strong revenue growth which definitely makes Freshworks appealing to growth investors
