The AI quirk I discuss in this video—where the enemies won't ever move until you open the doors to their rooms—actually gives rise to an exploit. A couple of months ago on the subreddit's Discord, I was talking to the user Squidward about interesting things you can do with Ophelia, and I proposed that she might be able to cut the corner on this map. Whereas all the other enemies activate when doors are opened, Hans and the two generals next to him are linked to each other. If you Entrap one of them, the other two will start moving, along with four more enemies who spawn at the southern stairway.

Since the generals have Spears, it's possible to bait them with a unit standing in the hallway. After that, you can Lunge them to get inside the room. My suggestion was that Ophelia could do that and then sweep everything with Vantage. I had actually done that before, but when I had done it, I had also gone through the Sorcerer room and had opened the eastern doorway at the same time. When I tested the maneuver by itself, I discovered that if you get inside without ever opening the doors, Hans's squad and the reinforcements will attack you, but the other enemies still won't move: they'll just stand there and watch.

Therefore, if you have a couple of units with Lunge who also have enough bulk to battle a handful of Berserkers and Generals under threat of Enfeeble and Hex, then you can make your way through to Iago while ignoring most of the enemies. You might get frozen over and over, but you can inch along by separating and then pairing up again.

This means you can skip not only most of Hans's room but also both of the side rooms. And the maid in the eastern hallway can Entrap people from the starting area, so in principle, you can skip the Hero room as well. You only have to fight ten enemies: the two sorcerers in the hall, Hans, Hans's two lieutenants, the two generals and two berserkers who spawn in, and Iago.

That said, do yourself a favor: don't do the full four-room skip. It's a terrible slog. More straightforward strategies are both easier and more fun.
