🏠 Buying Property in Spain: Step-by-Step Guide
Booking a property
Sign a reservation contract (Contrato de Reserva).
The buyer pays a reservation deposit.
The property is removed from the market for 2 months, allowing time to prepare all documents and complete the process.
Obtaining a NIE (foreigner identification number)
The NIE is required to purchase property in Spain.
You can obtain it yourself using the reservation contract, or through our legal partner.
Opening a bank account in Spain
Required for transferring funds and completing the transaction.
Transferring the remaining amount
After opening the account, the buyer transfers the remaining balance.
Signing the purchase contract with a notary
The official deed of sale (Escritura Pública) is signed.
After signing and payment, the buyer receives the keys and becomes the legal owner.
