Our Big Lap comes to an end. Thank you. East Coast ,Trial Bay, Cape Byron, Home

It's bitter sweet as our Lap draws to a close. And thank you all for allowing us to share it with you. We can’t say how much we appreciate it.

We head up the east coast, visit some family and friends along the way then head via Trial Bay. Along the way we tick off the final cardinal point extreme edge of Australia visiting Cape Byron the eastern most point before heading home.

We visit Trial Bay Gaol and campground - and what a lovely little gem that is. Kangaroos in the bush, in the campground, under the awning and on the beach - everywhere. We witness a thunder and lightning light show, but lucky it goes all around us, but not over us! We rise very early on our last Lap day to catch the first rays of sunrise from the most eastern point of the continent and recap some of our Big Lap highlights - what an adventure it has been.

We've always said we don't want to be professional content creators but we will do a couple more episodes to bring the Big Lap Gap Year series to a neat ending. We've held off the requested final car and van reviews for our post trip checks and services. We have now raised around $3500 for charity which we think is pretty good for a small channel with no sponsorships, we don't do click bait and we don't pump the views.
