Gov’t to prosecute corrupt Uchumi supermarket officials

The government will pursue those implicated in the mismanagement that led to the current misfortunes of listed retailer, Uchumi Supermarkets. According to State House Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu, the state has enough evidence to have the suspects charged, even as the cabinet moves ahead with plans to inject 1.2 billion shillings to try and revive the retail chain.
