Here we have the world's best 35mm film camera. The last of a generation of cameras that professional and enthusiast photographers have relied on since the first Nikon F released in 1959.

I got this F6 from Japan in unused condition. It arrived in 3 days from Nagoya and I didn't have the CR123 batteries necessary when it arrived. I filmed the first batteries and first roll of film that's ever gone into this camera.

Film stocks used in this video are Kodak Ektar 100 and Kodak Portra 800. Lenses shown are the 35mm f/1.4 AF-S, 58mm f/1.4 AF-S, and my favourite, 200mm f/2 VR AF-S.

I've had the Nikon F5 since the late 2000's and it was a joy to use. I found its autofocus to be super fast, especially with the 85mm f/1.4 AF-D. I decided to pick up the F5 again and see how I liked it now, years later. That feeling made me go on the hunt for the F6.

Video shot on my Fujifilm X-T4 with 16-55mm f/2.8, and macro shots with the Fringer F to X mount adapter and a Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 AF-S.
