Joseph Gilgun Hilarious Interview about the creative journey of Sky One's Brassic

Joseph Gilgun is interviewed for his new Sky One show Brassic where he plays Vinnie opposite Michelle Keegan and Damien Malony.

He talks to Rich Phippen about the creative journey he went on, and how much of his life went into the series. We go on the creative process, through the jumble of ideas, to the writers he worked with, to the finished stories. There is mention of the influence of Shane Meadows, and how their relationship grew over the years, and what he learned from him.

It's a fascinating and candid look into TV production, and the lessons learned when you're thrown in at the deep end.

Plot: Vinnie (Gilgun), a Lancashire lad with bipolar disorder, and Dylan (Molony), his razor-smart best mate, are inseparable and utterly co-dependant. They’ve hardly spent a day apart since birth. But Dylan’s girlfriend Erin (Keegan) might just shake things up for good with her plans to leave town and start a new life for herself and her kid, Tyler.
