In this comparison, we take a look at the NordicTrack 2450, NordicTrack X22i, and the Bowflex Treadmill 22. All of these models have some similarities, but it is where they are different that will help you narrow down your search.

Starting with their similarities. They all have 22” touch screens to stream subscription content from. The NordicTrack treadmills use iFit which offers thousands of trainer-led workouts. These are filmed indoors and outdoors, literally on every continent. iFit comes free for the first month when you purchase the 2450 and X22i.

The Bowflex Treadmill 22 offers JRNY which comes free for the first year. JRNY has studio-filmed trainer-led workouts, but these aren’t quite the same quality as iFit. There are also other structured workouts, outdoor-filmed routes, and streaming from apps like Netflix and Hulu.

You can use all three of these treadmills without a subscription. There are onboard workouts and a manual mode available to use.

They’re also all quiet and capable of handling a lot of use. We recommend them for running and high-intensity workouts. The motors are similar in size and all go up to 12 mph. As far as durability and stability, they’re really hearty and solid, too.

As far as size, the NordicTrack 2450 is a little more compact and maneuverable than the other two. It folds up and has transportation wheels so you can wheel it around. It’s also lighter so this helps make it easier to move. The Bowflex also folds up, but it is heavy and large so we recommend a designated space for it. We recommend a designated space for the NordicTrack X22i because it is heavy and doesn’t fold.

Another big difference is the incline ranges. The X22i has an insane incline at 40%. The Bowflex is the highest inclining folding treadmill we’ve tested with a 20% incline, and the 2450 has a pretty standard 12% incline.

They all vary a little bit in price so check the links up top to see what they’re currently priced at.

Their cushioning also varies a bit. The X22i is the softest underfoot. The 2450 is also soft but doesn’t feel bouncy at high speeds like the X22i can sometimes. The Bowflex is pretty firm underfoot so it isn’t best for those with joint issues and discomfort.

Overall, we love and recommend all three of these treadmills, but it all depends on your preference, goals, and home space when determining which one is best for you.
