Model Filleting - PowerMill 2020

Autodesk PowerMill 2020 now includes the ability to automatically add fillets to the internal corners on a CAD model when calculating Optimized Constant Z and Steep and Shallow Finishing toolpaths. This additional geometry helps avoid shock loading caused by cutting tools engaging into heavy regions of stock, and should reduce the likelihood of tool breakages or damaging workpieces. This enhancement also ensures programmed feedrates are achieved for the entire cut, resulting in reduced cycle time.

PowerMill 2020 will be issued in the very near future. Active subscribers or maintained customers will be able to download using the Autodesk Desktop App or by logging into their Autodesk account at https://manage.autodesk.com.
