In this video I am demonstrating the DW Performance Series Lacquer Snare. DW created the Performance series of drums to make it possible for a wider range of drummers to tap into DW's legendary quality, craftsmanship, and sound. You definitely get all of those things in this snare drum as you do with all DW products.

This drum is made from 100% North American Hard Rock maple. It is 10 plies, 8" x 14", with perfect 45-degree back cut bearing edges and a really nice looking natural finish. The drum utilizes DW's HVX shell construction. The size of the shell and the one of kind construction give this drum a warm and deep sound that is also sensitive - a great combination in any snare drum. The drum comes with a lot of fantastic DW hardware like their MAG throw off, Quarter Turret Lug, and TruePitch Tuning.
