Exploring an Abandoned Cabin in Alaska | Homestead Cabin

A viewer from the lower 48 contacted us wanting to know if we’d check out an abandoned homestead he’s thinking of buying. It’s just a few miles from our house so we said, sure. It’s actually in better condition than it looks but needs to be closed in soon or the elements will take their toll.
As we were exploring I spotted a momma moose and new baby as I walked around the corner of the cabin. The last thing you want to do is startle a new mom. They can be very protective and aggressive.
We also found a few abandoned vehicles.
This cabin has a gorgeous view and lots of potential. Hopefully someone gets it and brings it back to life.
