It's got everything you need from a telephone, a very good camera, it's really really thin as you can see, and another very important thing is that it can fit in your pocket. But what happens if someone calls you? What we have launched as well is our first portable. This ia a bell that when someone calls you, just by pushing this button you can pull out the headset and then answer the call."

Spain: China's Huawei unveils world's slimmest 7" phablet

Chinese telecommunications company Huawei Technologies launched the world's slimmest 7-inch (18 centimetre) phablet, the MediaPad X1 7.0, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Thursday.

The flagship phone and tablet combo sports a 5-megapixel selfie-taker complete with a Talk-Band wireless earpiece, for answering calls. The phablet weighs just 239 g (0.5 lbs) runs on Android 4.2 and has a 1200 x 1920 LTPS fill-view-angle screen, as well as LTE and 2GB RAM.

The new device is expected to hit Chinese, Russian, Middle Eastern and Latin American markets in March this year.
