Born in Liverpool but moving to Australia when she was 5 years old, Lynne made a few cracking singles in the mid sixties, including the Northern Soul stomping 'Stranger In My Arms'. This though, is the cream of the crop for me. Her version of the Goffin/King tune that mods will know well from the Action's terrific take.
