Northern Laos is a true hidden gem because even though Laos is not frequented by travellers but northern Laos is even less travelled. And if you think Laos is underrated, northern Laos is way more underrated.

And I seriously recommend don't miss Nong Khiaw which is a beautiful little town just 3 hours from Luang Prabang. And yes you can say that Nong Khiaw is kind of my favourite place in Laos.
