Many think a market crash of 50% is an insane option, but stocks would not be far from where those were just two years ago. Therefore a crash is not the insane part, the insane part is how much stocks went up the last two years. Further, mathematically when the price of an asset goes up, the reward automatically goes down and the risk goes up.
