Our emotions and our trauma cause us to look at our history or we’re looking too far forward and get depressed. The gap between our ideal life and our current reality is where depression and anxiety live. It’s also where the Holy Spirit lives. Holy Spirit is in our now. We have 2 voices. The voice of the enemy who wants to take us out. The voice of Holy Spirit whispering to us “get up”. We need to just trust that what God promises would happen that He who began a work in you will be faithful to complete it. It’s not being lazy, it’s being intentional. Neuroplasticity is a real thing. God can reprogram our brains. Your purpose is to reflect God daily through being YOU.
