Playing Rayman Origins on a keyboard felt way too awkward, so we implemented gamepad support in your favorite 3DS emulator! Watch me try my Switch Pro Controller on a game that you constantly need to press 3 or more buttons in. My 22 most painful gaming failures included 😅

The DualShock and Xbox controllers and many other gamepads are supported too, and their buttons are magically remapped to match the physical position on the 3DS. If you prefer a keyboard, Mikage still has excellent keyboard bindings, and if you have neither there is an on-screen input overlay for mobile devices. We keep finding small ways to give us an edge to Citra, so whichever inputs you use: Expect a few pleasant surprises!
