Once Lord Karthikeya son of goddess Parvati was under the under the control of goddess Kateri who is considered as ferocious form of Parvati Ma or Shakti,
So Lord Karthikeya suffered a lot (though ma pleased by their followers even if she is in ferocious forms)...
When Lord Kartikeya pleased Ma (Kateri) by chanting her various names(non ferocious forms),
Kateri Ma turned into actual goddess Parvati Ma in Shanti form...
Then Lord Karthikeya asks his Mother(Parvati Ma) that why she is getting pleased and giving boons even to Tantriks even though they are doing bad things to the people..
Ma explains him that God is not an exception to mantras,
When Vaamacharis chants the mantras in reverse form(which is bad) even God will be pleased by the Tantras......
