Five leaders of the Madaripur District Anti-Discrimination Student Movement were attacked in Muksudpur, Gopalganj, on their way back home with seasonal fruits in July. They have been admitted to the hospital in serious condition. Relatives have demanded justice for the culprits, saying that the attack was carried out because they were protesting against eve-teasing. In the meantime, the police have arrested one person after looking at the CCTV footage.

জুলাইয়ে হতাহতের বাড়িতে মৌসুমি ফল দিয়ে ফেরার পথে গোপালগঞ্জের মুকসুদপুরে হামলার শিকার হয়েছেন মাদারীপুর জেলা বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের ৫ নেতা। গুরুতর অবস্থায় তাদের ভর্তি করা হয়েছে হাসপাতালে। ইভটিজিং-এর প্রতিবাদ করায় হামলা চালানো হয়েছে জানিয়ে দোষীদের বিচার দাবি করেছেন স্বজনরা। এরই মধ্যে সিসিটিভি ফুটেজ দেখে একজনকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ।
