The 17th annual Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival was held on Saturday July 15 and it featured artists celebrating cultural equality through #reggae and #worldmusic.
The 2023 show held in the beautiful city of #Duluth, #Minnesota was headlined by #Jamaican #dancehall and reggae artists #Konshens and #Luciano, #Afrobeats artist #Stonebwoy from #Ghana, #Alison Hinds — the #Soca queen from #Barbados, Minnesota’s own Dred I Dread, Rootz Within, and #Trinidadian DJ Sound of Fujun. This year’s show was attended by folks from all over Minnesota, #Wisconsin, #Illinois, #Michigan, the #Dakotas and even #Canada.
The event organizers say they intend to provide cultural entertainment through reggae and world music artists who spread the message of love, hope and equality for all people worldwide. The festival supports the Jamaica Minnesota Organization and Kako Foundation to help with the education of students in both Jamaica and Haiti.
