We are back today for a new Halloween makeup tutorial! And we went with Emily from Corpse Bride for this one.

It's a great idea for a Halloween costume and the MUA did a great job, it looks almost identical to the real one!

Did you know that this 2005 film, Corpse Bride, which inspired us to create this makeup tutorial, was itself inspired by a legend? Directors Mike Johnson and Tim Burton were influenced by the legend of the dead bride. According to the legend, a young man was walking in the forest on the eve of his wedding and saw a ghastly finger sticking out of the ground. Unaware of the nightmare he was about to unleash, the groom-to-be put his wedding ring on that finger thinking he'll have some fun. His fun came to a quick end when the emaciated body of a woman in a wedding dress rose from the ground and calimed him as her husband.
