Tres Canciones Españolas Antiguas by Federico Garcia Lorca: El cafè de Chinitas, Anda Jaleo, Sevillana del siglo XVIII- Live performance at the closure concert of the XXX Brno International Guitar Festival, with Luca Villani and Silvia Mirarchi. Lorca collected 13 popular and antiques spanish songs, copying and armonized them, being also an accomplished pianist. The origin was in May 1921: Lorca returned to Granada, thus meeting the teacher Manuel de Falla, who had settled in the city since September. Their friendship led to undertake various projects around music, cante jondo, puppets, and other artistic ideas. That same year, Lorca wrote the Poema del cante jondo, published only ten years later. In the whiletime in Granada revolved around two cultural focuses: Falla and the gathering of El Rinconcillo, reunited with «El cante jondo».
In 1931, Encarnación López Júlvez, artistically known as "La Argentinita" accompanied by Lorca on the piano, recorded five slate gramophone records of 25 cm and 78 rpm with a selection of songs prepared and adapted by the poet, entitled Collection of Spanish Popular Songs, which were accompanied on the piano by Lorca himself.
