America's FASTEST Commuter Rail: Riding the MARC Penn Line from Baltimore to Washington DC

Описание к видео America's FASTEST Commuter Rail: Riding the MARC Penn Line from Baltimore to Washington DC

Maryland Area Rail Commuter, also known as MARC, is a system of three commuter rail lines in the US states of Maryland, West Virginia, and in Washington DC. The Penn Line uses tracks of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor between Washington DC and Perryville, MD. This line is electrified, and MARC trains using electric locomotives can travel at speeds of up to 125 mph (200 km/h) between Baltimore and Washington. Join us on our last leg from New York to DC, aboard a MARC bi-level car. See how MARC compares to NJ Transit or SEPTA, and hear our thoughts on traveling down the Northeast Corridor by commuter rail.
