User/Tag Security is set using traditional PI database, tag, and module security settings. The RtWebParts connection is allowed or disallowed access to PI tags based on the privileges of the the PI user it has been associated with. Access to the RtWebParts Admin page requires membership in specific Windows groups and additional RtWebParts security requirements, such as access to the PI Module Database, typically done through the use of a PI trust.
