Anti Racism and Belonging in Outdoor Play and Learning

Описание к видео Anti Racism and Belonging in Outdoor Play and Learning

Canadian Child Care Federation partnered with the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada to present this webinar. Dynamics of power and privilege created by white supremacy culture have seen the outdoor play and learning movement thrive to serve mostly white, non-Indigenous and settler families across the Land. This webinar hopes to uncover and interrupt colonial structures towards creating safer and braver spaces for racialized children and families to feel belonging in and with the Land in outdoor programming. This one-hour gathering covered a big topic, with hope to plant some seeds for an ongoing journey of learning and unlearning.
